You could make this progression like the star system.(must win twice on any level to revert to base bet)

Using the progression this way you could have 30 straight losses in a row versus 21 for the star with about 55% of
the required bankroll of the star. As far as a lost double or split you jump up two levels instead of 1 just like the star. The star system is very good but it is hard to find table limits that will accept it. This would work very nicely in the $5 to $500 tables.

This progression looks almost like the star system, however, I believe this one has a better edge than the Star System.
